Ramaphosa to reshuffle cabinet


President Cyril Ramaphosa to announce the cabinet reshuffle at 3pm.

Two ministerial posts needs to be filled in Environmental Affairs and in Home Affairs.

Home Affairs minister Malusi Gigaba stepped down after a long period of sustained public attacks on his integrity.

Environmental Affairs Minister Edna Molewa died in September after a short illness while on an official trip to China.

Ramapahosa conveyed the National Council of Provinces in Ekurhuleni sitting.

His address concludes a week-long NCOP Taking Parliament to the People programme.

He admitted the failures of government.

He says it’s not meeting citizens’ expectations in a number of areas.
